A leading online retailer in its industry is seeking a Junior or Intermediate ASP.NET/C# Developer to support a customization project of an e-commerce platform. You will be working directly under the supervision of our CTO. This opportunity is expected to be a 3 months contract, with the possibility of extension, or even become an F/T position.

As the perfect candidate, you have:

Competent C# .NET skills
Mastering ASP.NET 3.5/AJAX Extensions
HTML/CSS/Javascript
Knowledgeable in OOD and OOA
Demonstration of sufficient Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) skills and experience (2005 or higher)
Significant .Net Framework 2.0+ knowledge and experience
Familiarization with integration technologies (Web Services, WCF, etc.)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to take ownership of development work and see it through to completion
Ability to learn new applications & methodologies quickly
Source code management including version control, branching and production releases
Ability to comply with coding guidelines

Must Have:

C# .Net development experience (2-4 years)
ASP.NET/AJAX Extension Experience (2-4 years)
HTML/CSS (2-4 years)
SQL Server 2005 and T-SQL Experience (2-4 years)
.Net Framework 2.0+ Knowledge and Experience (2-4 years)

Experience with e-commerce is a strong asset, but experience with other trading applications is relevant as well.

Start Date: September 1, 2009
End Date: November 30, 2009

Work Environment: F/T, mostly remotely with access to IM/VOIP but initially and for meetings at Langley office. Regular office hours Monday – Friday (9:00 am start time) on site only.
