Company Profile : Sura Systems is a Chennai based niche Pattern Recognition company dealing with outsourced product and application development. The company focuses on Image, Video, Document processing research, algorithm and application development. Sura Systems services clients in US, UK, Germany and Australia.

Job Description
-Assisting in routine coding work involved in recently delivered projects and maintain existing code - Learning languages such as Python, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Djang, J2ME, MIDP -Work on proof of concept applications for clients in Image, Document and Video processing, Video streaming, Amazon Web services, and Google application engine.

Impt Note:
1. Selected candidates will be engaged as trainees without stipend during the first four months. In the beginning stages, they will be put under our experienced developers for 4 months. Based on their performance, they will be inducted as contractors in projects with a stipend based on their responsibility. Depending on their ability and performance, the stipend can be contractual or monthly stipend of Rs 6000/- or upwards. By no means this will be extended to all selected candidates.
2. Please write in your email application, how you will be able to support yourself. Because of a deluge of applicants, we are forced to ignore forwarded mails, mails with multiple recipients mails with no formal message in the body and mails with casual and informal inquiries and solicitations.
3. Genuine candidates who thrive in pressure cooker atmosphere and who are passionate about coding and learning new platforms and research domains, executing projects for client will be able to make best use of this experience. We seek to train future employees and our positions are not for sale.
4. We want only grads who have completed their degree, not final or pre-final years.
5. Only swift responses to our mails will be considered for further processing. Late, or casual or muddled replies will be ignored.
6. Candidates from whom responses were solicited and found wanting need not apply again.
7. We are looking for confident candidates willing to start immediately.

Job Function : Trainee- Application Development

Education : BE, B Tech, MCA, ME, M Tech, or M Sc (with good programming skills)

Desired profile :
- Fresh MCA, BE, ME/MTECH, M Sc Graduates
-Should **NOT** have bought their final year projects
-Should come prepared in their core area of expertise, if called for an interview
-Should be passionate about coding
-Fast learners
-Committed and honest
-First preference for candidates in and around Chennai
-*Outstation candidates* can also apply but should state *very clearly* how they will be able to support themselves in Chennai without stipend. This is a full time position, not a part time job. Generic job requests without this information will be ignored.
-Should have a strong back ground in an object oriented language and should be interested in branching out to other platforms and technologies such as Visual Studio, C++, .Net, C#, Java, J2ME, J2EE, Java MIDP, Ruby on Rails, Python, Django, PHP, Cake, Smarty, Web 2.0, Javascript, XUL, Flash, Flex, AIR Apache, Glassfish, JBoss,Struts, vTiger, SugarCRM, LAMP, iPhone, Symbian OS, Blackberry and Android.

Important Notes :
1. **During or after** the training period of 4 months, if found suitable, candidates will be absorbed in current projects on a contractual basis. All selected candidates will be provided with a certificate for the training period on satisfactory completion. All our current employees have been inducted in this manner and have been our full time employees for 2 - 4 years.
