We are looking for an ASP.NET developer who wants to work on an enterprise class software-as-a-service system for our company based on Long Island. This individual must be skilled in I.T. administration and is proficient in Microsoft's web technologies as well as having a background in development. This position will require the following skill sets & responsibilities:

Software Development Experience using the following tools:
- ASP.NET C sharp
- MS SQL Server
- Visual Studio 2008

IT management involving the following responsibilities:
- Windows 2003 + IIS6 Administration – Monthly server maintenance, ASP.NET application hosting, Purchasing and installation of SSL Certificates.
- SQL Server 2005 Administration – Monitor and maintain a healthy and secure database environment.
- E-Mail Administration – Hosted email management. Basic account maintenance.
- Network Administration – Maintain a small business network consisting of two servers and basic networking equipment. Basic knowledge of Firewall and VPN technologies a must.
- DNS Management – A fundamental knowledge of the Domain Name System (DNS).
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2008 (TFS) Administrator – Maintain and administer TFS Server 2008 for the development environment.
- Rackspace Account Manager – Maintain the application environment hosted within Rackspace's facilities. Manage trouble tickets and work with them to maintain service. On call 24x7x365.
- Customer Support Management – Receive, document and troubleshoot customer requests. (Email/Phone/Web)
- Backup Administration – Maintain a effective system backups

This position is open as a full-time contractor position (in-house or remote). We need somebody who is a self-starter and highly reliable. You will receive transition training in the IT roles and development but must prove to be proficient in both product development and support.
